CEIF Member featured in FeedNavigator

One of our CEIF Members, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, was recently profiled in FeedNavigator for their dedication to incorporating sustainable and traceable ingredients (like Marine Stewardship Council certified Alaska Pollock and black soldier fly protein) in to their new line of Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin pet foods. Hill’s support of CEIF was mentioned, stating how important it is to have quality supply chains and research on the most appropriate insect proteins to feed pets.

The article offers a great primer on how the insect industry not only supports current models of sustainability but is also shaping the future of product development. This is the whole point of CEIF, to bring industry leaders and research together to create a more sustainable supply chain when it comes to all kinds of products.
